MSA Weather Policy

Current Cancellations/Postponements:

There are no cancellations or postponements at this time.

Games:

Games are played in most weather conditions, including cold and rainy. Usually lightning is the only reason for cancellation. Assessments need be made at the game site, so coaches and players from both teams should show up at the scheduled game time. 

U5, U6, U7, and U8 age divisions:

In this league, the coaches from both teams mutually decide whether or not a game is to be cancelled. The coaches should immediately cancel a game if lightning is present.

U10, U12, and U15 age divisions: 

Only referees can cancel a game, and generally this occurs only when lightning is present. 

Practices:

It is up to the coach to decide whether or not practices will be cancelled due to weather.
