Overtime & Kicks from the Penalty Mark
Fall 2020:
4 Team Divisions: Preliminary Round Games CAN NOT end in a tie.
6 Team Divisions: Preliminary Round Games CAN end in a tie.
All Divisions: Championship Games CAN NOT end in a tie.
If the Championship Game is tied at the end of regulation there will be (2) 5 minute OT periods.
If a goal is scored in OT the game is over. This is called Golden Goal.
If the game is tied at the end of both OT periods the game will be decided by Kicks from the Penalty Mark.
In a PK shootout coaches choose 5 players to alternate shots with the opposing team.
Only players on the field at the end of OT may take a penalty shot (including GK's).
Best out of 5 wins. If the game is still tied after 5 attempts it becomes sudden death.
The first team to score when the opponent misses wins in sudden death PK's.
